Jean Barnett: Artist who likes photography. She trained for 3 years under artists in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and has attended seminars and classes at local colleges. Her art includes painting on stained glass and porcelain, as well as working with pencil or pen and ink plus watercolor.  Her favorite subjects are wildlife, flowers, pets and portraits.

Norman Burket: Sculptor and Artist. Norman trained under artists in Napa, California. He does sculptures in bronze and occasionally he likes to paint in oils. His favorite subjects are of people and wildlife. We have a 4' x 5' stained glass window in our home, and we are currently working on a window of hummingbirds.

We have just added a new artist to our lineup.  Donna Dennis has put up several flower paintings for your to preview.

"After raising a family of four children, I moved to Santa Fe, N.M. where I worked among the artist and found a gallery to display my work of small desert scenes I found so beautiful in Santa Fe. I studied art at the University of Kansas and Washburn University graduating with a B.A. in design.  My work has been featured in Santa Fe, N.M. and is represented in numerous private collections throughout the country."

A painting or sculpture of your family member or pet (any pet) can be done by special order.  Send a picture of the image you would like done and the size requested, and we will get back to you with the cost and timing. See addresses below.

Pencil drawings are created on high quality paper board of faces or whole pictures of your family or pets.  Click on drawings for more ideas and prices.

Giclee (pronounced "she-CLAY") are prints made by a process that utilizes 5 to 7 colors.  The shop that we use reproduces the paintings on "Arches Paper" (the same used for the original) and uses the 7 colors.  The pigmented inks are sprayed onto the paper.  This creates a beautiful true color reproduction.  Click on Giclee to see what is available.

Watercolor original art is available.  They are various sizes and are painted on high quality paper or high quality paper boards.  Click on the link to watercolor to see the various paintings available.

Stained glass is a multifaceted process.  The painting is fired in a kiln at high temperatures for each layer of color.  It could take 7 firings for a picture as shown.  It is then framed with stained glass to complete the picture and frame. Click on the link to stained glass for more pictures.

Bronze figures first start out as in clay.   After the sculpture is complete, it is taken to a bronze foundry.  They create various forms of each part of the sculpture.  After the bronze is poured into the molds and cooled, they then have to reassemble the sculpture and weld it back together.  It is then finished with the tint requested by the artist.  In this case, Norman was involved in many of the steps to assure the finished product turned out as he intended.  Click on the link to bronze sculptures for more pictures.
