Cookbooks
Cookbooks are soft cover with wirebound inside pages so that the cookbook lies flat and is easy to use by children. Put your child's favorite recipe and their picture on each page along with the picture of the finished product. What a great gift to their grandparents. When the children visit, the grandparents will be sure to please them with their favorite foods.
Points for creating pages.
Create a folder on your disk for the cookbook.
Then create a folder for each page.
Put a picture of the child or person for this receipe and a picture of the finished product in this folder.
Type the receipe in note pad or a program that does not format the text. You don't want to have extra code on your page by using Microsoft's Word or other document formating tool. When you paste the text onto the page in HeritageMakers, you can format the text the way you want it there. Not before.
When you have everything you need for this page in this folder, then you can upload the pictures it into heritagemakers folder.
Choose the template you want to use for this page. You can then click and move your pictures into the spaces provided for the pictures. Take the text document and copy it into your clipboard, and paste the words into the template. Arrange the words so they make sense, and voila! you have a page.
Save the page and you are ready to make the next page.
